Rebecca Lee is a sound recording engineer with a background as a trained musician and a master’s degree in Sound Recording from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. With a bachelor’s degree in Music (major in Organ) and minors in Music Theory and Musical Applications of Technology, Rebecca also obtained a Diploma of Colleague of the Royal Canadian College of Organists (CRCCO) and an ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance. She has received many academic awards, including the John Grew Award, the W. Douglas Clarke Award, and the Edward C. Wood Scholarship during their undergraduate degree. Most recently, Rebecca won the Eleanor Stubley Sound Recording Prize. While completing her studies, Rebecca worked as a Technician in Sound Recording, Live Sound, and Webcast for various musical events at McGill. Rebecca also took on the role of Concert Recording Facilitator, assisting with coordination and arrangements for audio needs at these events. She has been a member of the audio crew recording the National Youth Orchestra of Canada in the Summers of 2025 and 2026.

Since 2023, Rebecca has additionally been the Event Coordinator for the Summer Organ Academy, launched by the Royal Canadian College of Organists (RCCO). She assists with planning and delivering the annual program for more than 15 participants of all ages and is responsible for organizing and managing administrative and program support, updating relevant webpages, and creating and posting social media content.

Rebecca works well in team settings and demonstrates strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills. She is most enthusiastic about creating refined and beautiful audio productions. With substantial early musical training, together with professional sound recording training at McGill, Rebecca works to enhance the quality of audio productions through recording, mixing, and editing, supported by deep musical knowledge.
